The second city in Europe for the length of the walls that surround it without interruptions. This curiosity would be enough to make Lucca a must-visit place, a historic city in the heart of Tuscany which, however, contains many other points of interest.
There are in fact the Cathedral of San Martino, the most important church in the city; the Torre dei Guinigi and the Torre delle Ore, from which you can enjoy a unique view; Piazza Anfiteatro, which once housed a Roman amphitheater and today is a very special “closed” square; the Church of San Michele, with a very high facade on which the statue of the Archangel Michael stands out.
